Barron Canyon Trail Map

The canyon is a popular destination for hikers, climbers, and nature lovers. This trail is moderately trafficked and my four year old basically ran up this hill. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 43 min to complete.

The barron canyon trail clocks in at only 1.5 km long, but the view from the top is absolutely stunning! At the back of the parking lot there was a large map posted, and we were able to grab a paper map to take with us.

We took advantage of hiking this trail when we were staying at bonnechere provincial park, approximately one hour away by car. Travel 300 metres, and then turn right onto the barron canyon road. Follow the road and turn off at the barron river access parking lot road. Nestled between the town of petawawa to the east, algonquin park to the west, the township of laurentian hills to the north and the b trail to the south, this network of trails.
